One dead, another injured in downtown Denver stabbing

Denver Police said a man died after being stabbed Thanksgiving morning near Lawrence Street and Park Avenue West.

DENVER — A man is dead and another person is recovering after being stabbed Thanksgiving morning in downtown Denver.

Denver Police first posted about the stabbing just after 11 a.m. Thursday.

The two victims were rushed to a hospital. One of the victims was pronounced dead there, police said. The other victim's condition was not released.

Police said no arrests have been made in the case. Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or tipsters can submit information online at metrodenvercrimestoppers.com.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation. 

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
