Corey Rose is the Weekday Morning Anchor at 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado.

She joined the 9NEWS team in January 2010.

Previously she worked in Casper, Wyoming where she anchored and produced the nightly news.  

Prior to her time there, she worked behind the camera at KCBS/KCAL in Los Angeles, California.

Corey graduated Cum Laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in health and physical education.

Corey is an award-winning journalist, having won several Emmys and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award.

Corey serves on several boards and donates her time to many organizations in the community.

She is also the Founder and President of the Wishes and Heroes Benefit Concert annual fundraiser which she started in honor and memory of her father.

Since it was founded in 2011, it’s raised more than $250,000, granted wishes to dozens of sick children through the Make A Wish Foundation and helped dozens of firefighters through the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation.

Corey is also married to a former professional MMA fighter. They have two children and a rescue pup.
