Our Purpose

Team Rebel is on the cutting edge of expeditionary style angling and is world renowned for pushing the envelope to accomplish extraordinary angling feats, all while carrying a strong message of conservation about the wildlife we encounter in our expeditions, this is done all while we fight for anglers rights all across the state. We are experts in the department of shark fishing, land-based fishing, as well as shark fishing historians. Our quest will never end, as our pursuit to accomplish what many deem impossible is what drives us to put our life and own safety on the line to flatten the box of ordinary, and promote a misunderstood and mostly forgotten style of extreme angling in a way that old school sport is met with a new age twist. Join us, as cast off on our quest to rock the angling and scientific world, all while achieving our goals in ways that many may label us "Insane".

Big Win for Sharks in the State of Florida

With the fate of future Hammerhead and Tiger shark stocks "hanging in the balance", the Florida Wildlife  Commission took a huge step in the right direction today in placing stricter regulations and protective measures to help the dwindling populations of the Smooth, Scalloped, and Great Hammerhead shark species as well as Tiger sharks within the state waters of Florida. Myself, along with Sean and Brooks Paxton, spear-headed the recreational shark release anglers position on these proposed regulations, and to place our input to the Commissioners and those in attendance, that greater strides need to be taken to educate anglers within the state on how to properly handle sharks (particularly protected species) when pursuing them as game fish.

Read more about the FWC meeting and the new regulations set to go into effect on Jan 1st, 2012 by clicking on the picture link below.

And again, a big shout out to everybody who helped make this possible! Thanks again for your support!
