Team Bio
Zach Miller(Founder)-

Born and raised in South Florida, he is a true Florida Native, Zach has been roaming the lands between the Ocean and the Everglades for his entire life. Zach has fished all over the eastern seaboard of America ranging as far as Connecticut to the tip of Mile Marker 1 in the Florida keys and all throughout the Gulf of Mexico in search of Americas toughest species to capture and hunt from shore bound structures and beaches. He founded Team Rebel in early 1999 as just a group of friends doing what they enjoyed, but then it began a revolution in the underground sport with many captures that will be talked about forever and precedent setting catches, techniques and ideas to the likes that nobody has ever seen before. Zach is all the only remaining original member of Team Rebel and has kept the tradition going strong for over a decade now.In 2009 he was voted onto the lead committee of the International Land Based Shark Fishing Association (ILSFA) as a representative for the state of Florida. Zach credits his success to a good attitude, "throw the box out" type of thinking, and an ever growing hunger for animals that can hurt ya' back.
Chris Nicklin-

Chris has been an active member of Team Rebel for the last 6 years, and is the longest tenured team-mate next to Zach. Chris has been responsible for many unbelievable catches himself over his years in the organization, this including an 11ft hammerhead shark captured from the legendary Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier that was caught with just 30lb mono-filament line, and it took him 4 1/2 to accomplish this incredible feat. Chris has a very impressive track record with not just sharks but many other species from shore, especially with light tackle.
Brendon Winters-

Brendon has been a long time friend of Chris and Zach, dating all the way back to 1999 when this group was formed. He has been all around the state fishing from various surfaces and structures. His shark skills are finely tuned on elevated structures such as piers and bridges, along with his un-canny ability to land big kings on almost any surface he steps onto. He is a newer addition to the core of the team though, and with his mechanical skills, and luck always on his side he will be a great addition bringing us into the new decade.
Victor Hluben-

Victor was scouted out at the local pier, we saw about four years ago that sharks particularly peaked his interest, so we lent him a helping hand. He ended up sticking with the game and stepped up his game and moved into the surf zone when it comes to shark fishing. The kid must be made of nails because BIG HAMMERS! are attracted too him!. Everybody in the Shark fishing community has taken note of him, and is on the fast track to becoming one of the best in all of the sport
Tyler O'Toole-

Tyler is new in town, and with the use of a helpful tool called "the internet" Tyler found us and reached out to us and expressed his interest in learning the ropes of the sport. He has already been part of some history making captures and making it known he is down for the struggle. He fits in very well to the twisted and extreme way of thinking we others on the team use and fits right in to our group of hardcore land-based anglers. Tyler is also our Land-Based go to guy in the cold North East. Keep an eye on him because you don't know what crazy species he will be pulling out of the surf at any given time!
